How Easy Change can really be

Tiny tweaks that change our reality.
When we understand in real terms – how much our mood and expectation alters the experience of our life – we will do more? No – we will do everything in our power to protect, monitor and elevate our state of mind. We will understand that there are simple and easy to make choices in every moment that not just can, but will improve the nature of the events we experience. That effect those things that we have for a long time imagined are beyond our control. What’s going on for us, how we are treated, what we think we can do and so will take on the challenges associated – reality itself is a by product of our state. The world outside truly is responding to our energy.
That is not to say that we will never again experience hardship, or be knocked down. But these are the very same tools that allow us to integrate whatever happens to us – to accept where we start from, and to recover faster from the wounds of our destiny.
State of mind is the trophy – the engine from which we filter the entirety of our life. Whether the world outside is a misery or a great mystery depends not on the environment but the filter from which we view – a filter governed by how we feel. State of mind lies at the heart of all that can be ‘achieved’ from any endeavour we embark upon. When we understand the effect our state has on everything else we experience – and that opportunities are present in every moment to rise above the illusion of reality. When we can change the world by how we feel, we become more conscious of our right, our ability, and the privilege we have been bestowed to become someone else – to feel like someone else. To create whatever change we want in our lives.

State of mind is the determinant of what we notice – give our attention to – what we look for and see in the world. Seeing is an intuitive faculty – an inner projection. A consequence of what we are looking for confirmation of. We are ordinarily turning the world outside into a familiar pattern. When we first ‘worked out’ what was going on. It’s all we started turning everything into.
But state of mind is not just what we see – and it is not beyond our control. It is also…
The memories we have access to, or our recollection of an event – the parts of it we remember, or the way we remember it depends on how we feel at the time. The pieces of our past and the way we remember them.
The thoughts we entertain – our mental model, or the platform from which we think. Which of course includes not just what interests us but what we think we can do. What we will move towards, and the goals we set ourselves – we won’t lift a finger towards something that we don’t believe can happen – what we don’t think we can do – what we don’t expect to see.
How people appear to be treating us – if we don’t like how we are being treated we will either change our behaviour, or the type of people we associate with.
We see/ look for evidence – look for proof of our mood – things that confirm our mood – or things that sustain the vibration from which we come.
When we realise how important how we feel is to the things we may have imagined beyond our control – to our well-being, our future, our reality, it will leapfrog everything else in our priorities.
As a practitioner of NLP I know how crucial it really is to be able to elicit states at will. To create states of mind without reason – even in spite of what the evidence might suggest. To be able to imagine a feeling – to pluck it from thin air, no matter what seems to be happening around us. Staring out a window and daydreaming is not indifferent to eliciting states of mind. We all do it all the time. But when we realise the world according to us grows from our vibration, we will do it much more of the time.
This world can be full of beauty and opportunity, or be a horrid and grey place that is out to get us, and the difference, as I’ve suggested, lies not on the environment but where our focus and thoughts dwell. The filter through which we see the world can be cleansed – our habit energy, or how we feel automatically/ normally can be changed. Skewed perspectives that have been able to sink deep roots into our psyche because of our never knowing or exercising our choice, can be brought into alignment. And the mental models we think from can be broadened to give rise to new hope and possibilities. How feasible change really is doesn’t depend on anything or anyone outside of us. It relies on us entertaining what maybe possible, and moving towards what would improve our chances of seeing it in reality. But it all boils down to our ability to elicit states of mind – our ability to imagine how it would feel.
It’s the easiest and yet most effective – the most powerful work we can do. To change our vibration, regardless of the source is to change the world that surrounds us, and the opportunities that present. They only come to us in mind. Through being guided by our imaginations we can begin seeing things that rested just outside of our frame. These created feelings can make all the difference to what we believe is possible – and change should be thought of as fun. How fun would it be to change the beliefs that have been holding you back. To be able to do the things that people said you would never be able to – how fun would that be? Change isn’t just possible, it’s easy when you know how. When you know the tiny choices that are available to you right now that will begin a momentum of change. That will make you feel like you are living in someone else’s body and life.
“The Big Things are made in thin air – not where we think. All is born from a feeling – a feeling we don’t have to wait for – a feeling that is imagined – a feeling no one can keep us from.”
